ÇAĞLA KURTULUŞ

From 1965 to 1976 She was very busy working as a fashion model and appeared many times in Yıldırım Mayruk Fashion Shows.
She also modelled in fashion shows abroad in 24 cities in Europe and New York. The Foreign Office granted her the title ‘Official National Fashion Model ‘and issued her a diplomatic passport. She acted as diplomatic guide to Princess Soraya, Farah Diba and Queen Elizabeth II when they visited Turkey.
1977 marked her farewell appearance on the runway and for two years she organized “ Turkish Model Queen” and “Best Model of Turkey” competitions and jointly produced “Fashion Music” programme on Channel 6.
She established the fashion models association “MEMDER“ and “DAME“, a fashion model agency and she represented “METROPOLITAN” Agency in Turkey.

…She has graduated from 5 Universities namely The Middle East Technical University Ankara, Bosphorus University Istanbul, Yale (USA), Bologna Academy (Italy) and Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts Istanbul with Bsc, Masters and PhD degrees. She is fluent in 5 languages.
…Following retirement from professional management in 2000, she began her artistic career.

Çağla Kurtuluş was runner-up in the 2010 Sakıp Sabancı Fine Arts competition and she continues her artistic works in her studio in Kemerburgaz.
